After a year of retirement, Marshawn Lynch is coming back to the NFL, that is if the Seahawks can work out a trade with the Raiders.
Marshawn Lynch has made it public that he would like to return to playing football, but his only sights are set on joining the Raiders. He has agreed to a restructured deal with the Raiders, and now the only thing holding up the process if a trade between Seattle and Oakland.
The move makes sense for Lynch, as he played his college ball at Cal and likely sees this as a great opportunity to play for the hometown team while they are still around.
At least there is something for the fans to be excited about in Oakland after the team announced they are moving to Las Vegas earlier this offseason. The move won’t take place for another two years though, so the fans there have to pretend to be excited about the team still…
What this move means for the rest of the AFC West is interesting… seemingly the most balanced team in the division getting one of the more powerful runners in the history of the NFL? Could spell trouble for, or at least catch the attention of the Broncos, Chiefs and Chargers.
