The National Football League is set to announce the complete schedule for the upcoming 2017 football season later on Thursday afternoon. Leading up to this, we have learned of a few primetime games that the Denver Broncos will be featured in this year.
First off, it was reported by Mike Klis of 9News that the Broncos will host the newly relocated Los Angeles Chargers in Denver for Monday Night Football during week one. The game will be a part of the NFL’s double header of Monday Night Football on ESPN for opening week, and will be played as the second game. So, this means that the start of the game will likely be around 8:00 p.m. MT, but that is unconfirmed to this point.
In week 6, the Broncos will host another primetime game, as they welcome the New York Giants in for NBC’s Sunday Night Football on October 15th. This will be the first visit to Denver for the Giants since Thanksgiving in 2009 when Josh McDaniels coached the Broncos to a 26-6 victory.
The rest of the Broncos schedule will be released at 6:00 p.m. MT — we will have a full article with the schedule when it is official.
