Broncos draft DE, WR and CB on day two of the 2017 NFL Draft

On the second night of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected DE DeMarcus Walker, WR Carlos Henderson and CB Brendan Langley in rounds two and three.

With their second round selection, the 51st overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos grabbed defensive end DeMarcus Walker out of Florida State.

  • 67 tackles, 19. 5tackles for loss, 16 sacks in 13 games played in 2016 season
  • 25 sacks in 2015 and 2016 seasons combined

Denver then selected wide receiver Carlos Henderson out of Louisiana Tech in the third round, with the 82nd overall pick. Henderson looks like he can fit right into the Broncos as a much needed slot receiver.

Later in the third round, with the 101st overall selection the Broncos took Lamar cornerback Brendan Langley.

  • Six interceptions, two punt return touchdowns in 2016 season.

After some trades on Saturday morning, the Broncos have five picks in rounds 4-7 on Saturday afternoon, we will have more on those picks later in the day.
